Examinations & Routine Care
- New patient assessment (18+) — £27.21
- Recall (adult check-up) — £25.00
Urgent Treatment
- Urgent appointment (referred from Urgent Dental Hub) — £37.50
Common Treatments
- Simple restorative (e.g. fillings and extractions) — £36.03
- Extensive restorative (e.g. more than 4 fillings and/or extractions) — £68.75
- Periodontal (gum treatment) — £48.53
Root Canal Treatment
- Anterior (front tooth) — £91.18
- Posterior (back tooth) — £182.72
Advanced / Lab-Based Treatments
- Crown or bridge — £140.44 plus laboratory fee (from £50)
- Denture — £86.40 plus laboratory fee (from £150)
- Denture repair — £25.00 plus laboratory fee (from £40)
- Denture addition — £25.00 plus laboratory fee (from £40)
Other Charges
- Stabilisation treatment — £75.00
- Miscellaneous treatment (e.g. trauma assessment) — £25.00
Important Information
- Charges are set by NHS Wales and reviewed regularly
- Some patients qualify for free or discounted treatment (e.g. under 18s, pregnant patients, certain benefits)
- You may receive a treatment plan with itemised costs rather than a single banded fee
Note: You should ask your dentist how much your individual treatment plan will cost. The dental practice may ask you to pay before beginning your treatment.
