The Practice

The Channings Sketch
There has been a dental practice at the site since 1939, however we have always kept it up to-date since it was purchased in 1985.  In 2006 the practice had its latest refurbishment of treatment rooms with the installation of new equipment such as digital X-rays . The digital x-rays reduce the patient x-ray dose by as much as 90% and give an instant image on the computer screen and our dental chairs are apparently the most comfortable on the market! .

In 2008 we began the move towards having no paper records and a fully computerised clinical system. We were also a Vocational Training practice from 2001 to 2006 and had to achieve above average standards in our frequent practice inspections. These standards continue to be maintained.

New Patients

We know that some people are anxious about seeing a dentist, and we are happy to help overcome those feelings. It is important if you think you may need dental treatment not to wait until it becomes an urgent problem. Seek treatment and advice early and the treatment is minimised, mention if you are nervous and we are happy to take a little more time to ensure your visit is as you would wish.

We ask all new patients to fill in a medical history, if you would like to print out our blank form and fill it in so you can bring it with you on your first visit please click the following link:
